Single-game tickets for Season Ten of Lincoln Saltdogs baseball go on sale on Friday, April 9. Tickets will be available for purchase at Haymarket Park, via phone at 474-BALL (2255) and online at www.saltdogs.com, as the Saltdogs prepare to celebrate their tenth season in the capital city.
“This is an exciting time of year for us,” said Saltdogs director of ticketing Toby Antonson. “Our friendly staff is dedicated to making sure that our fans enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience at Haymarket Park. We know families will be looking for more affordable entertainment options this summer, and with everything that goes on at a Saltdogs game, it’s a great value for everyone.”
Since 2001, the Saltdogs have provided Lincoln with affordable family entertainment. A family of four can purchase tickets, grab a meal, have the kids run the bases and enjoy all the sights and sounds of Haymarket Park, all for less than 45 dollars total. Whether it’s special entertainers, wiener dog races or winning baseball, there’s something for every fan to enjoy, every night of the season.
This year’s schedule is no different, starting with the home opener on May 25 against North Division rival Wichita. The opening homestand also includes games against South Division foe El Paso. Longtime rival St. Paul makes its first visit to Haymarket Park on June 8, and the Saltdogs will celebrate Independence Day weekend by hosting Pensacola in a rematch of last year’s American Association championship series.
Single-game ticket prices for 2010 are as follows:
• Club Level - $15.75 per ticket
• Lower Reserved - $11.75 per ticket
• Upper Reserved - $9.75 per ticket
• General Admission (adult) - $6.75 per ticket
• General Admission (kids 12 and under) - $5.75 per ticket
Season ticket plans and group ticket packages are currently on sale as well, including our special Tenth Season Ten-Pack. The Lincoln Saltdogs ticket office at Haymarket Park is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, although the office closes for Saltdogs sales two hours before every Nebraska baseball home game. Tickets may also be purchased during regular business hours via phone, by calling the Saltdogs ticket office at 474-BALL (2255).
